Jaume Domènech will undergo surgery on Friday in Valencia, to treat the injury suffered to the rectus femoris tendon of his right quadriceps during the match against Deportivo Alavés.
The medical services estimate that the goalkeeper will remain in hospital for between 24 and 48 hours following the surgery.
